First and foremost, from all of us here at Pappalardo & Pappalardo, we want to wish you health and safety during this difficult time. Given the state of things, we are closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19, the novel strain of the coronavirus. Moreover, please check back to this blog post for updated information on our office’s hours and days of operation.
Our Attorneys and Staff Are Working Full-Time
Update: Effective Monday, June 15, 2020 at 9 a.m., are offices are now open to the public. As always, we ask anyone wishing to meet with us to call and make an appointment so that we can maintain social distancing for you in our waiting area. All visitors must wear a mask. Our team is employing all best practices – including wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, using disinfecting wipes, and cleaning frequently.
Effective Sunday, March 22, 2020 at 8 p.m., our offices will be closed to the public in compliance with Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.6. Pursuant to section 14 of this Executive Order, we will be in our offices only for essential matters which cannot be performed remotely. This includes checking all mail and correspondence received at our office.
We continue to be available during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday), and if you have a legal emergency we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have a legal matter, please call our main number at 914-725-7000, and your call will be routed to our home offices. If this is a legal emergency, contact John at 917-940-5556 or Jill at 973-626-4088. You can also email us at info@pappalardolaw.com.
Our attorneys and staff have been working from home full time to continue to provide legal services to our clients. We also have video conferencing available via AnyMeeting.com. Here at P&P, we strive for excellence and will continue to do so during this national emergency. We wish you all health and safety and will continue to serve your legal needs throughout this difficult time. If you want additional information about COVID-19, please visit the Center for Disease Control’s website.
Court Appearances
Regarding court appearances, we are closely monitoring the situation with courts. Information is being posted on the New York State Unified Court System’s website. As of March 16, 2020 at 5 p.m., it appears that most cases will be administratively adjourned. This excludes criminal arraignments and essential applications. We are reviewing each of our cases and advising our clients accordingly.
