John Pappalardo Helps Social Media Model Involved in $2 Million Identity Theft Scam Stay Out of Jail

John Pappalardo represented Patricia Perez-Gonzalez, who was charged for her involvement in an identity theft scam that netted more than $2 million in stolen proceeds. Perez-Gonzalez was a model who showed off fine clothing and a glamorous lifestyle to her followers on social media. She was charged with her former boyfriend Alberto Companioni with stealing the identities of persons and opening more than 40 American Express Platinum cards in their names. Perez-Gonzalez ultimately avoided jail, receiving a sentence of a one-year conditional discharge.
