Jazmine Merino

Jazmine Merino is an associate at Pappalardo & Pappalardo, LLP, where she handles a wide range of criminal matters, including traffic violations, misdemeanors, felonies, and federal investigations. She appears in court throughout New York State and is actively involved in all stages of litigation. Her practice includes legal research, motion practice, and the drafting of legal memoranda. Ms. Merino is dedicated to representing individuals facing criminal charges and is known for her thorough preparation, strategic advocacy, and client-centered approach. She advocates fiercely for her clients both inside and outside the courtroom, ensuring that each client is informed, supported, and defended at every stage of their case.

Prior to joining Pappalardo & Pappalardo, LLP, Ms. Merino developed a strong foundation in criminal defense through nearly a decade of hands-on experience in the field. She worked at several prominent criminal defense firms as a paralegal and law clerk in New York. Ms. Merino also interned with the Legal Aid Society of Westchester County, where she later worked as an attorney before transitioning to private practice.

Ms. Merino graduated cum laude from Pace University School of Law. During law school, she served as an Articles Group Editor for the Pace International Law Review. Ms. Merino is also fluent in Spanish.
